2020 has been quite the year of unknowing all the way around, for all of us. In May I moved my studio and am now located in the North Coast Seed Building in Portland, OR -- actually the site of my first studio when I originally moved to Portland years ago! Back then I was part of a studio collaborative, PhotoWorks Northwest, which welcomed me warmly into the artist/photography community in Portland. Things have changed quite a bit since then of course as Portland continues to grow and shift in many ways. Still, the North Coast Seed Building remains the home of more than 40 artist studios.
Next up....
I've been awarded an artist residency in March 2021 at Yucca Valley Material Lab! in California! I could not be more excited as I have loved both the desert and the medium of glass for some time now. . .
In late 2019 I was also granted an artist residency at the Sou'wester Lodge in Washington State. While I haven't travelled there yet due to the pandemic, I plan to enjoy making new work at this coastal residency in 2021.
